SigLite LCD with Serial data output is Topaz’s low-cost pressure-sensitive electronic signature capture pad. SigLite features all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem LCD tablet but with a low-cost touchpad and stylus in place of the more rugged digitizing pen and inert tempered glass surface of the SigGem tablet series.

SigLite® LCD 1×5 (non-backlit) features a wide 1″ x 5″ (2.5 x 12.5mm) tempered, transflective LCD screen providing a wide signing surface for users.

*Signatures appear on the pad screen under-the-pen as the user signs. In addition, the LCD display can be used to display information to the user, and can also display on-screen buttons, hot-spots and checkboxes.

The “-B” model is a Serial device. It connects to a PC or Termial via an RS232 connection (pad has a female 9-pin connector – see image above). Typically less common than the USB connection, Serial is having somewhat of a comeback in the expanding Remote Access environment, being ideal for Citrix and/or Terminal services architecture.

This model has a two-year Manufacturer’s Warranty. However, even after this warranty period has passed (or if the repair is outside the terms of the warranty) we can offer a lifetime service to repair or refurbish the unit (if possible) for a modest charge.
